Burkhart Enterprises, Inc. is a third generation
company that has diligently continued to improve and expand
its business over the
past six decades.
In 1946 we were known as Burkhart Quarry & Supplies,
a small family business striving for the American Dream.
Over the past sixty years, Burkhart has made every
effort to adapt and change to meet the demands of our customers.
The Burkhart family is also dedicated to the growth and
development of the Knoxville area. Burkhart Enterprises,
Inc. is an active member of the Knoxville Area Chamber
Partnership, and has been since 1985.
Burkhart Enterprises, Inc. is also dedicated to the environment
and natural resources of the area, maintaining an up-to-date
and aggressive environmental protection policy.
With
the help
of our devoted staff, high standards, and good customer
service, Burkhart Enterprises, Inc. has transformed into
a successful
materials handling operation that handles over
a half million tons of material per year by barge, truck
and rail.
